Eliza Eastman

Town Planner

Eliza joined Realm in 2017 following an impressive career spanning 11 years, across three states and a range of industries including regional and metropolitan government and community housing.

She brings a broad range of experience to the team; from multi use residential developments on the Perth coastline, to rural land use consultations, heritage applications and urban subdivisions.

A country girl at heart, Eliza has a passion for bringing people together and was drawn to town planning by her desire to enhance and strengthen the way communities interact through the built environment.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development from the University of Melbourne in 2006 and specialises in rural and urban statutory planning processes, procedures and frameworks.

Eliza thrives on the challenge of negotiating with clients, councils, objectors and other stakeholders to achieve positive planning outcomes. Her extensive knowledge of the planning process, requirements and framework is a huge asset to our team. In addition, her ability to identify and address potential issues in their infancy, to avoid delays, puts her ahead of the pack.

Eliza works in our Deniliquin office while balancing life with her young family on their sheep and cropping farm. She loves the freedom and adventure farm life provides and enjoys keeping fit by playing netball and gardening.
